The 5-tiers of the framework actually represent phases of the journey from the pain state to the gain state, which in simple language means transition from the problem status to the solution status.
TIER 1: COGNIZE
This tier relates to UNDERSTANDING of the real problem by the client. The consultant is available
to point out the necessity for intervention and potential for improving business.
TIER 2: ASSESs
This tier represents the first phase of consultation, in which the consultant carries out a
comprehensive market and competitor ANALYSIS and develops a strategy for improvement. He
also suggests a list of measures needed to be taken and a time frame for their implementation.
TIER 3: TRANSFER
