THE 5-TIERED CATCH Framework

This framework was developed by me in small steps over time and it evolved constantly to integrate experiences gained From my consulting practice. Based upon the classical 3 c’s concept of corporation, competition and customer and Integrating the swot matrix features evaluating strengths (s), weaknesses (w), opportunities (o) and threats (t), it is an Excellent tool to analyze intrinsic and extrinsic factors for developing sustainable solutions.

The 5-tiers of the framework actually represent phases of the journey from the pain state to the gain state, which in simple language means transition from the problem status to the solution status.

TIER 1: COGNIZE

This tier relates to UNDERSTANDING of the real problem by the client. The consultant is available to point out the necessity for intervention and potential for improving business.

TIER 2: ASSESs

This tier represents the first phase of consultation, in which the consultant carries out a comprehensive market and competitor ANALYSIS and develops a strategy for improvement. He also suggests a list of measures needed to be taken and a time frame for their implementation.

TIER 3: TRANSFER

This tier represents the second phase of consultation, if needed, in which the consultant helps in physically IMPLEMENTING the suggested measures through training sessions with the relevant employees. The consultant will be involved in website relaunch, social media visibility and Flow Organization of export-Import related processes. The consultant will also develop ready to use templates for correspondence with customers and suppliers

TIER 4: CONFIRM

This tier represents the third and last phase of consultation, if needed, in which the consultant helps over a 6-month retainer ship period to MONITOR day to day progress and eventual bottlenecks in correspondence and contacts with the customers or suppliers

TIER 5: HARVEST

This tier refers to HARVESTING of Profits from the export-import exercise and requires no input by the consultant.
